Over the years, Political Science continues to remain one of the popular subjects offered by the students of the college. Moreover, the results of the final year students during the last five years have also been up to the mark. The classes are held regularly and various teaching methods are used by the teachers keeping in view the requirements of the learners. The college library has a rich collection of books in the discipline of Political Science. Apart from the lecture method, interactive, collaborative (Project Work), Group discussion and digital methods are used by the teachers to equip the students to become analytical, critical and evaluative.
For Continuous Internal Assessment, the Department conducts class tests and mid-term tests, gives assignments, organises departmental seminars and debates. During the last 3 years the Department organised two national seminars also. The Department is not only committed to make its students conversant with the ideas, terms, concepts and various dimensions of the discipline, but also to arouse analytical and other intellectual faculties in them. The Department wishes its students very productive years at the college and a successful career ahead.
